As the Manager, Sales Solutions, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to sales teams in the development of complex customer solutions to secure new and incremental revenue for the Air Transport business. Your focus will be on positioning RXO as a true business partner to the customer versus a mere vendor or supplier. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Drive revenue and margin growth and customer diversification across multiple verticals, horizontals, and air transportation modes
  • Develop pipeline of new customer and market sales and strategies for domestic and international air transportation solutions
  • Engage with and act as a liaison between various Sales teams and Operations to collaborate and review capabilities, pricing, market penetration and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage development and submission of timely customer bid packages, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Use knowledge of aviation market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies to analyze/evaluate the effectiveness of current sales, methods, costs, and results
  • Represent RXO at various trade shows, customer events, and/or business meetings to promote the company and air transport capabilities
  • Adapt a consultative customer sales approach and serve as the customer advocate ensuring their needs are surpassed
  • Perform regular visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with Management’s directives, to drive the business and grow the company’s revenue, market share and profitability
  • Self manages various administrative aspects (CRM, expense reports, etc.)
  • Achieves the annual growth KPI’s (revenue, profit, volume, new customers)

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of combined experience in aviation related sales, marketing, business development and/or project management
  • Proven track record building customer relationships and new business

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Marketing, Sales, or Transportation,
  • Availability to travel 20-40% of the time
  • Experience with marketing, selling, and servicing customers for on-demand and contracted aviation solutions including air charter
  • Technical understanding of cargo and passenger aircraft models/types, types of air carrier operations and value proposition of air transport services
  • Fluency in Spanish and familiarity with cross-border US/Mexico markets
