What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support designated senior sales team members with multimillion-dollar engagements, including coordinating bids and proposals, providing account-specific analytics and resolving issues across multiple lines of business
  • Work as part of a collaborative team to clearly articulate solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, win themes, and discriminators
  • Apply interviewing skills to gather required information from internal and external personnel to support writing activities
  • Write executive summaries and pursuit materials that articulate the strategic messaging in a compelling and persuasive manner
  • Develop process improvements to help improve proposal quality
  • Capture, shape, and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice
  • Collaborate with entire Proposal team to build creative and innovative material
  • Translate highly technical information into clear, impactful, and grammatically correct content
  • Manage developing and documenting the proposal plan, draft storyboards, development of proposal/win strategy, proposal team assignments, and initial proposal management plan
  • Review and adjust marketing materials in response to changing market conditions and competitive intelligence
  • Assist with the review of the go/no-go decision, support the official proposal kickoff meeting, and development of graphics and visuals

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of logistics, transportation or relevant experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Transportation Management or a related field
  • 3 years of logistics or transportation experience
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
  • Experience in project management; outstanding ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Capacity to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
