As a Manager, Operations at RXO, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for our Transportation Management services offering. You will also define opportunities for improvement and efficiencies, while identifying areas of growth. count on your skills and experience to be a champion of our company values, ensuring an engaged workforce, loyal customers, efficient operations, and a bright future for yourself and RXO.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Define requirements for operations and ensure the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed company requirements and customer expectations
- Identify and deploy a broad range of customer initiatives through established processes
- Define, deploy, and monitor corrective action plans that reduce risk and mitigate process errors
- Design and deliver standard reporting and analytical tools to support Operations Management and Executive Management using a variety of software, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial planning software
- Interpret large volumes of operational data, report on accuracy and trends.
- Create templates and deliverables for Operational; identify methods to monitor performance against original assumptions; develop detective controls and predictive indicators
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 4 years of transportation and logistics experience
- Excellent analytical, communication and time management skills
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience working with a TMS system
- Solid problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
